The 5-day Advanced Fire Fighting course, in accordance with STCW, teaches participants not only the correct extinguishing tactics and techniques, but also the skills required to set up and carry out drills on board. Correct and safe emergency management is at the centre of this course. By developing a scenario and carrying it out in practice, participants acquire the necessary knowledge for successful fire defence. The course with subsequent examination is a continuation of the basic safety course and is primarily aimed at officers, group leaders and operational leaders.
After successfully passing the examination, a certificate of attendance is issued. With this certificate, the actual certificate of competence must be applied for at the BSH for a fee. You can find the relevant application form here.
