The lifeboat course (Survival Craft and Rescue Boat) in accordance with STCW is aimed at skippers of lifeboats and all officers on seagoing vessels. Here, the safe handling of the various lifeboats is trained and a practice scenario is developed for an emergency.
This 5-day course with examination is an extension of the basic safety course.

After successfully passing the examination, a certificate of attendance is issued. With this certificate, the actual certificate of competence must be applied for at the BSH for a fee. You can find the relevant application form here.
