Safe on board

  3. Maritime Training

Our Maritime Training unit offers safety courses in accordance with STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) for seafarers and shipboard personnel. Private individuals and companies can book the courses, which are conducted by qualified instructors with many years of professional maritime experience.

While the theoretical part of the safety training takes place in our seminar rooms, the practical part is held in Leer harbour.

There, participants have access to a training pontoon with a free-fall boat and rescue boats as well as specially equipped rooms for fire drills. Realistic and practice-orientated training is the be-all and end-all when preparing for an emergency.

We also offer additional training courses, e.g. in the areas of LNG and offshore. On request, we can also design training courses tailored to your needs. You can find our current training programme and registration options HERE.

Can’t find a suitable course or date? Contact us, we can make things happen!

Compliance with the high training standards is regularly checked and certified by the Ship Safety Division (BG-Verkehr).
